Knitting Tension Swatches
"in the round" |
| When a sweater is knit in the round, it makes
sense to knit your tension swatch in the round as well. People
invariably have different tension on their knit rows as compared to their
purl rows and this can be sufficient to "throw off" your tension
swatch. Use either a 40cm circular needle or double pointed needles
in the size you are checking. You could start a matching hat if you want
to use your swatch! |
